Scientists of rock and roll and adoptees of Colombian rural music, the carranga, Los Rolling Ruanas present their new song, “Sin Darnos Cuenta.” Their new song is a humanitarian awareness hymn, an anthem, a call to action to remember not to lose sight and never give up the never-ending fight to advocate for human rights and equity for people and the environment.
The Rolling Ruanas would like to remind us that, yes although we are all fighting a global pandemic, we should continue to keep in mind other pressing issues that we might have forgotten due to the trial and tribulations the pandemic has presented; issues of endangering our environment, our ecosystem and our inequalities infringing on our societies. They're helping hit the refresh button on these issues with tantalizing merengue pulses and catchy, shiny, guitar twangs veiled with woefully woke lyrics.
